The Fathers and Brothers of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri in Port Elizabeth are pleased to announce that on Saturday 22 May 2010, Fr Grant James C.O. and Fr Henry Ezenwanne C.O. were ordained to the sacred priesthood by the Rt. Rev. Michael Gower Coleman D.D., Lord Bishop of Port Elizabeth.

The Rite of Ordination was celebrated at a packed St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 8th Avenue, Walmer, and was followed by a reception in the Parish Centre. The following morning, on the Feast of Pentecost, Fr Grant celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving at his family's parish, Mater Dei, Newton Park at which his former parish priest, Fr Vales Dania (now of St Patrick's Catholic Church, East London) preached a moving homily. Fr Henry celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving at a special Mass for the Nigerian community at St Bernadette's at 10:00 on Pentecost Sunday morning.
