Secondly, what do you do with your recycling?   To help you, we have provided some places where you can take your recycling to, or you can choose for an easier option of kerbside collections.

These are some recycling drop off points around town and they accept all classes of recycling, e.g. glass, paper, plastic, tin:

  •       Total Garage - Admiralty Drive, Summerstrand
  •       Walmer Methodist Church – Main Rd, Walmer
  •       Mater Dei Catholic Church – Cape Rd, Newton Park

Glass only:  there are more than 100 of the large green bottle banks  dotted all over town and you should be able to easily identify one in your suburb.

Household Collections   Recycle Yourself - recycleyourself@hotmail.co.za offer recycling with ease, convenience and a greener mind by providing a bin and a monthly supply of refuse bags.  They will collect fortnightly, this all for a small monthly fee.   If this is the way for you, then contact Sean on 0762604741 or Brendon on 0828796614.

Good luck with your recycling and always remember to

reduce, reuse, recycle!
